Fiorillo S1000 violins are often mistaken for much older instruments as their richness in tone/projection and their beauteous appearance with detailed varnishing is reminiscent of fine old European instruments
This instrument is ideal for all levels but particularly early-tertiary level study and the advanced musician.

S1000 are made in 3 patterns:

Stradivarius -1716 ‘The Messiah’ - this carefully modeled from one of the most famous violins by Stradivarius.  The length of 1716 is 356mm, and with traditional Strad F holes. It's tonal characterisitc is very sweet and has a clear and singing tone.

‍Guarneri -1743 'The Cannon' - 1743 -this is also the one of the most famous models by Guarneri, and knicknamed The Cannon for is huge tone. It was Paganini's favourite violin. The length of 1743 is 354mm, and it has higher arching than the Strad model producing a deep, powerful and clear tone.
 
‍Stradivarius S1000 - this Strad model has a very powerful and clear tone which is very responsive to play. The varnish is less antiqued than the Messiah model and has a lovely golden patina.

Each instrument and model have their own feel and distinct voice and so we strongly encourage you to come and spend some time choosing the model that best suits you.  

The Fiorillo S700  model violins are hand made with a beautiful warm varnish and offer the player a rich and powerful sound with a quick response and excellent projection. A good dynamic range is also achievable with minimal effort on this model. Suitable for advancing players looking for an instrument with great response and tonal possibilities.

The Fiorillo S500  model violins are our upper entry level model. Hand made and hand finished with an appealing varnish usually found on more expensive models. Their tone is surprisingly open and super responsive to play. Excellent value for money.

S300
The Fiorillo S300 is our quality entry level violin suitable for a beginner or schools.
Students progress faster on better sounding instruments and a student’s first violin sets the stage for the rest of their musical life. Our student violins balance a good open sound with solid construction to last for many years in school environments. The S300-violin features inlaid purfling, genuine ebony fingerboards and pegs (handmade genuine ebony pegs are easy to tune and stay in tune), and hand-crafted top, back, and sides. Built for comfort our ebony Dresden style chinrest makes holding the instrument more comfortable, and our composite tailpiece with integrated fine tuners allow for easy adjustments.

The Fiorillo S100 Amati are a hand made, wide body viola model based on Nicolò Amati'. They offer the player a surprisingly huge deep and powerful tone with a warm and beautiful varnish. We have not found a better sounding viola in this range. These instruments are hugely popular with advanced students and professionals looking for a very satisfying deep and powerful tone. The response is quick, offers excellent projection and a good dynamic range is achievable with minimal effort. Suitable for advanced players looking for an instrument with great response and tonal possibilities.
